Description

The Evelyn skirt pattern features a high-waisted design with three different style options. View A offers a fitted waist, a high slit, and a midi-length skirt with side-front buttons. View B also has a fitted waist and side-front buttons, but with a shorter, mini-length skirt. View C provides an adjustable elasticated waist, a high slit, and a midi-length skirt.

Recommended Fabric

This pattern is intended for light to medium weight woven fabrics. For the button-front styles (Views A and B), a medium weight fabric is recommended, while the elastic waist version (View C) is best suited for a lightweight woven fabric. Suggested fabrics include rayon challis, rayon crepe, rayon voile, cotton lawn, cotton voile, linen, denim, and flannel.

• 1 1/2 yd (1.4 m) of tricot fusible interfacing
• Views A and B: six or seven 1" - 1 1/4" (25 - 32 mm) buttons for the front
• View C: 1 1/2 yd (1.4 m) of 1 1/2" (4 cm) wide elastic for the waist
