The Blanca Flight Suit is a semi-fitted, highly customisable boiler suit pattern with a clear nod to vintage workwear. Designed to be practical yet stylish, it can be sewn in a wide range of fabrics and easily dressed up or down depending on your choice of cloth and finishing details.

It features a centre front zip, cleverly designed patch pockets that double as belt loops, and the option of a tie belt or buckled belt for shaping. A traditional shirt collar and distinctive pleated back add structure and interest. You can tailor the look with long sleeves, a tapered sleeve with snap fastening, or a short sleeve version. The straight leg can be left full length, cropped, or tapered at the hem with a leg tab. For the bodice, choose between a classic patch breast pocket or a zippered pocket for a more utilitarian finish.

For a structured look, use sturdy woven fabrics like denim, twill, canvas and mid to heavyweight linen and cotton. For a softer effect, choose mid-weight fabrics with drape, such as Tencel twill, Cupro or silk noil.

Non-separating zipper (use metal teeth for sturdy fabrics and plastic for lighter weight fabrics). Please note a longer zipper may be used and trimmed to size- separating zippers can also be used if properly closed with a bar tack. Sizes 0-4=20”, Sizes 6-14=22”, Sizes 16-20=24”.
